My Weekend

Saturday :

6:00 – got up

7:30 – ate

8:00- violin

9:00 - cleaned the down stairs

10:30 – started painting

12:00 - stop painting because my heart was racing and my chest hurts. I have an irregular heart beat, which means my heart will beat fine, them it will skip a beat, to make up for the skipped beat it will do two beats really fast. A lot of times when this happens it will hurt my Chest and make it hard to inhale when I breath. I've been to the doctor, had two EKG'S and blood work, but no one seems to know how to treat it. My irregular heart beat most of the time only bothers me when I eat wheat, dairy or don't take my calcium.

1:00 lunch

3:30 – go back to painting

4:30 - stop painting to make a cake

5:30 - picking pears

7:00 – dinner

8:00 – painting

10:30 – finished painting for the day

Sunday:

6:00- got up

7:00 – 8:30 getting ready for Church

8:30 – leave for Church ( This is when we are supposed to leave for Church, but this is when we really leave 8:45)

9:10 – stop on the way to Church to go to the trash dump!:)

9:25 –arrive at Church

12:00 - Lunch at Church (Our Church always has lunch together)

2:00 – leave Church

3:30 – start painting again

7:00 - dinner

8:00 – cleaning the kitchen and den

9:20 – violin

10:00 – go to bed.

We had to get all the painting done this weekend because the carpet people came today. The inside of our addition is all done!! If everything goes as planed my Grandparents will be moving in next Saturday. YAY!

I am off to my grandmother's for a few days! They don't have a computer so there will not be a post until Saturday. Since Monday we have been painting. Monday I got paint in my eye and around my eye. Yesterday, Nick decided to paint me! He got it all over one leg, in my hair, and my face. Do you know how long it takes to get dried paint out of your hair? It was like I had dyed my hair blue. I think it's all out, hopefully. Well... I will leave you with a happy picture!

Mary Kay Party!

On Thursday we had a Mary Kay party at our house and invited Rebekah and Abigail. It was so very fun! It was the first time I had put on that much make-up. I do not like mascara. Here are some pictures and a wonderful poem.

On a last note our church has planed a Square dance for October 24 in Oxford. If you can make it please come. There will be more details as we get closer to October.

I'm sorry I haven't posted. These last few days I have been at my Grandmothers and last week I was over their every day to help clean out their house. Anyway here are a few pictures of Sarah, Jessie(my cousin), and me.

Man Blows Up Apartment!

A New Jersey man trying to exterminate insects in his apartment blew it up instead, the New York Daily News reported on Monday.

Isias Vidal Maceda was unhurt in the incident, but 80 percent of his apartment was destroyed, Eatontown, New Jersey police told the newspaper.

The accident occurred as Maceda was spraying for pests in his kitchen. Somehow the bug spray ignited a blast that blew out the apartment's front windows and triggered a fire that quickly spread, the newspaper said.

Well I hurt my toe. I don't really know how I hurt it, I was getting out of bed and all the sudden it hurt. David said I have an ingrown toe nail and I need to put my toe in hot water so it will explode. My week

Ok, so I realized that I have just been posted pictures this week and not really saying anything about what we've been doing. So here is what we did this week!

Monday : Music, My Dad went out of town for the week, Sarah had Bible study, and we went to my Grandparents.
Tuesday : We practice with a group that was chosen from DUSS to play for the DAC.
Wednesday : Sarah, Sam and I played at the DAC! It was very cool!
Thursday : Sarah, Nick and I went to the Taylor's to help them sort books. We had Bear and deer spaghetti, It was very good!
Friday : We went to my cousin's play, it was a musical version of "The Lion the Witch and the wardrobe."We did not get home until 12:00 am!
Today: I went to Duke with Sarah, while she taught some of her violin students and I practiced my violin, tonight, my grandparents and cousin are coming over for dinner.
Tomorrow : My cousin, David is coming to spend a "while" at our house.

Well..... that's all I can remember about this week.

Since we have had so much going on I have not been able to post pictures of the 5th of July! For the next couple of days I will be posting pictures from the the party we had on the 5th.

Blackberries!

I am not dead!

Wow, it has seriously been a long time since I posted! I almost forgot how to do it, ok maybe not quite that bad. I have been wanting to get on and at least post giving reason to my complete drop off the blogging world but for some reason it has been hard to find time to check emails, much less blogging. I might get on for 5 minutes one day and then go 3 days without even getting a chance to check emails. Since I missed a rather important email last Friday this past week I have been trying to at least get on and check emails but any other activity on the computer has been slim to none.

You might think, what on earth have you been doing that is taking so much of your time? And the answer to that is rather long and tedious and involved quite a lot of sunscreen but I will try to keep it brief.

Nobody probably remembers this, but back in February, there was a prayer request post involving my grandmother who had hit her head. For some time my grandparents had been trying to figure out what they should do in terms of a housing situation since they were both getting on in years and their current house was just too much work for the two of them. After my grandmother fell, my family decided we should have my grandparents move in with us so plans were set in motion that would make that possible.

The first matter of business was where were they going to sleep, this was remedied by changing the girl's bedroom situation so my grandparents could have a room on the first floor. Their new room was still pretty small though, so we decided I would just add on another room to our house. My complete abandonment of the internet and blogs was set in motion by the start of said addition. It has mainly just been me alone doing the designing and building, so construction has not exactly been flying along but Lord willing this time next month my grandparents should be moving in.

So my daylight hours have pretty much been taken up with constructing the addition as well as another house I am building for class. But wait, you might think what about blogging at night? Well that too has been rather tied up mostly by a large stack of books I feel I should be reading and also the fact that I and the rest of the "Manly Men Know How to Dance...And Do" group have gone on a bit of a dancing late into the night binge, it being summer and all....

As much as I like blogging my priorities just have been elsewhere and sadly at least for a month or so more I won't be posting regularly. I actually had some free time this afternoon and I just felt I should at least post an explanation why I had pretty much vanished. :p I am not dead, just really really busy. :)

DUSS Camp!

Since Monday, Sarah, Sam,Matthew and I have been at the Duke University String School Camp. It was every day from 9:00 to 3:00, but we had to get there at 8:00 to help set up.

Playing kickball. Kickball is very dangerous! Last week I got both my arms scraped up, then I had someone run full speed in to me,we both went down, and finally I had someone mistake my wrist for the RED ball! Still kickball was really fun and all the little girls wanted me on their team
