Buckeyes

1 1/2 cups peanut butter

6 cups confectioners sugar
2 sticks of butter (softened)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1 :
Mix together with hands peanut butter, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and graham crackers in a large bowl. It will look really dry!

step 2 :
Roll dough into balls. Set them on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Chill them in the freezer for 30 minutes.

step 3 :
Melt chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl set atop a pot of simmering water over medium - high heat. Stir continuously until smooth. Remove from heat and dip the balls half way in chocolate. Place them back on the cookie sheet and refrigerate 2 hours. Store in a airtight container in the refrigerator or in freezer.

Seven - Layer Bars

2 cups graham crackers crumps

1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 1/2 cups sweetened coconut
1 (14 - ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk

Step 1:
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Stir together graham crackers and butter in an ungreased 9 by 13 - inch pan and firmly press the mixture to cover the bottom of the pan.

Step 2 :
Evenly sprinkle the chocolate chips butterscotch chips, coconut and condensed milk evenly over the entire pan. Bake bars for 30 - 40 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Both these recipes are VERY easy and VERY addicting !!
BTW, William and Sarah left the B's house at 11:00 AM. Pray they have a safe trip home!

Well.... I have to go get ready for our Medieval Feast that our TOG class is having tonight!

Also, William and Sarah did not leave the B's house this morning, because they got snowed in!! They brought William's little car, that can't drive through the snow. When MR. B. called us they were outside in shorts and t shirts making snow angles! Romulus NY has closed all the schools, which they almost NEVER do, because of the snow !! Hopefully they will be home by Sunday!!

My friend Ellie Mestas and her family just got back from Ethiopia third weeks ago. They adopted two twin girl's Kesiah and Keren who are 7 months old and their brother who is 3 years old. Sarah and I singing Christmas songs

Christmas is only 17 days away so I figure the best way to end a week of posting videos is to post a Christmas video, one involving Sarah and myself no less....

Sorry this is slightly bad quality, it is 18 years old :p

Sorry if I bored anyone by just posting videos this week, tomorrow Sarah and I are heading to NY to visit some friends so this past week there was a lot to get done and I just did not have much time to blog. My sister Anna may post something while we are gone, if not, the next update will probably be next Friday or Saturday with pictures from our trip. :)

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Anyone who has been following the progress of the second Chronicles of Narnia film, "Prince Caspian" probably already knows that the first trailer came out a few days ago. I was going to post a different video today but I figure since I have been posting videos this week I might as well post the trailer in case you have not seen it yet. :)

Personally for me, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was rather disappointing, it seemed they tried to be like Lord of the Rings and it just came off badly. They have great source material it just needed to be implemented better in my opinion. Hopefully Prince Caspian can try not to copy other fantasy films but create it's own look....

An Amazing Video

Paul Potts was just your average cell phone salesperson when he decided to try out for Britain's Got Talent. The Judges just kinda rolled their eyes when He said he was going to sing Nessun Dorma. (Nessun Dorma is a opera song that was made famous by Pavarotti.) Check out this video to see what happened!! When I watched this I seriously got goose bumps!!

Now watch this video to find out how Paul did in the competition. :)

Another video....

A video of wacky people dancing on treadmills: :D

If I ever have access to that many treadmills this is something I would love to try, that must have been so much fun getting everything choreographed.

Video: Lighthouse Everything skit

In contrast to yesterday's videos, this one is of a more serious tone. Make sure you have your speakers on and since it is a skit, pay attention or the end might not make as much sense.

Videos!

This week Sarah and I are going to be posting some videos that we think are worth sharing. If you are on dial up like I know some people are, your local library probably has high speed you can use. If you have no library with high speed, then you are stuck with having to wait for them to load if that is the case I am sorry, I know what it is like....

Today we have two videos from Igudesman & Joo, two terrific classical musicians who mix humor with music. They have a website here

If you like them, they have several other videos on youtube :)

Adventures in uh....grocery shopping?

Last night after work I headed over to Matt's house to hear his brother David give a speech he had to give for a class. The plan was that we would eat dinner (tacos) and then he would give the speech. I was in charge of chips, except on the way over plans changed and I ended up not having to stop and get chips. The reason the plans changed is there was nothing in Matt's house for tacos. It seemed a run to the grocery store was needed! So myself, Matt, David and another friend there for the speech, Daniel, all piled in David's car and went to the grocery store......Since I had my camera with me, this unusual event was documented:

We find the taco supply isle!

One of the selections

Daniel showing us all his preferred brand of shampoo, David is not sure what to think....

Daniel dusting David's face.....

David pointing out a good deal on chips, which we bought

The good deal on the chips was possible with Matt's VIC card

Everyone figured I should be in at least one picture :p

Daniel and his cheese

Me again outside the store.

Everyone else outside the store, I am not sure why they are leaning....

Food at long last!!!

Daniel brought some cookies which he is slightly obsessed over.
