Life Tip # 113

When working on the faucet for a bathroom sink, make sure the water is turned off before you start taking apart the knobs. If for some reason the water is not turned off when you start taking apart the knobs, quickly turn off the water and immediately use a towel to fix any spilled water. Watching the water drip all over the underneath of a bathroom sink can be hypnotizing but resist the urge to watch it! Also make sure you have the correct pieces before you start gluing parts together. If you do happen to glue parts together before it is time, using a flat head screwdriver is not a recommended tool to try to get them back apart! If you must use a flat head screwdriver to break apart two prematurely glued together pieces, breaking a $23.00 piece of plastic that goes inside an on/off knob is not a good idea.
