Cake !!!!!!!
Last Friday was my granddad's 85th Birthday. I decided to make him a four layer cake. I have been wanting to make this particular cake for months! I turned out pretty good. Unfortunately, I only got a sliver of a piece, due to me having a cough for three, going on four weeks. Luckily, for me, we do have some left-overs in the freezer.
(In case anyone wanted to know, my cough is almost gone now, but more on that later)

Yes, the cake is in my refrigerator. Now you know what the second shelf looks like. :)
when it has a whipped cream frosting that gets softer the longer it sits out on the counter.

That looks really good Sarah. I know how hard it can be to try and put things on the sides of cakes, Coconut is really hard to get on.

Sorry about your cough.
You think 3 weeks going on 4 weeks is bad? Thats nothin'. I have mine for 3 months going on 4 months.
But I am getting better now.
I just didn't take care of it in the beginning stages of it and then it kinda got out of control.
Mom gives me all kinds of nasty stuff to take. I have to drink this green stuff throughout the day, it tastes really nasty.
Hey Sarah, at first I didn't look at who posted so I began reading the 'cake making documentary' thinking William was writing it... that was a little scarry! :)

Candace, I did not give you that cough, my doctor said I was not contagious. er.. but maybe he meant I was not contagious anymore!! And once you get over your cough, you are welcome to come to my house and help me finish the cake that is in the freezer. (If it is still there)
Anja, I imagine that coconut would be hard to put on a cake. It was taking to long, putting a couple of chips on at a time, so I just started throwing them on. My mom couldn't figure out what I was doing at first.
Liv, I feel your pain.... coughing is no fun. But I did get a new name at of all this coughing. My new name is Rick... you kinda have to watch Bleak House...what is the name of the green stuff you have to drink every day... maybe it will help me. :)
